Best Thing About This Camera...

Good detection zone helps it cover a large area

Trailcampro Analysis

The Stealth Cam Sniper Pro (white flash model) is a typical Stealth camera in both size and mostly performance.
Sporting a wide detection zone, that has ample detection range (60 ft), the Sniper Pro will definitely cover a large patch of land.  The problem lies in the rest of the detection circuit and even the picture quality.

The trigger speed is still far below average, coming in at 4.8 seconds.  The recovery time is still 60 seconds - both worst in class.  Unfortunately, these are both trademarks of 2010 and earlier Stealth Cam models.

Knowing that this camera would have a poor detection circuit, we were almost as equally assured that the picture quality would be great, as is the case with most Stealth Cameras.  Unfortunately, the camera has produced an abnormally large amount of "white-out" pictures (as you can see in one of the example pictures above.  The pictures that were normal were excellent in quality, however, it seemed that there were enough "white out's" that it would be an issue.

The Stealth Cam Sniper Pro uses 6 C cell batteries.  You can only expect about 3-4 weeks of battery life out of this camera.  This is below average.

Overall, the Sniper Pro would be best served as a food plot or bait station camera trap.  It is not quick enough for either scrapes, trails or security uses.  I think there is much better overall value in both the Scoutguard SG565 and the Cuddeback Capture.
