2nd Annual Trail Camera Photo Contest

Every year, we have a trail camera photo contest to display the best pictures taken throughout the world.  It is an opportunity to share your pictures with everyone else and enjoy pictures you've never seen before!  Animals range from jaguars to tigers to whitetail deer and everything in between!

Each year there is a grand prize for the winner of the contest, plus, anyone who votes is entered in win a separate prize!  This year, the Grand Prize is a 2010 Reconyx Hyperfire HC600 Ultimate Package.  Plus, all voters will be eligible to win a 2010 Bushnell Trophy Cam Ultimate Package. 

In order to win, all you need is the most votes for your picture.  Feel free to link this page on any forums, or to email to all your friends.  You can only vote once per person and you cannot vote for your own picture.

     Congratulations Steve for winning a Reconyx HC600 Ultimate Package!  Steve took 7.9% of the votes for his picture of this strutting male ruffed grouse.  Here is what Steve said about his photo...

"This male ruffed grouse finally did his thing with the sunrise lighting I was hoping for.  It was taken with one of my Sony W7 homebrew cameras.  I ran the camera in program mode with a shutter speed of 1/1000sec, f 2.8 and ISO 400.  It took a few weeks and several thousand pictures before everything came together.  I was using the fast shutter speed to stop the wings while he was drumming.  Hope you like it."

     Sounds like a lot of hard work paid off!  Thank you so much to everyone who entered a picture in our contest and also to the many, many people who voted!  One lucky voter will win a Bushnell Trophy Cam Ultimate Package from a random drawing!  The winner will be announced shortly.
