Trailcampro's 2 Year Warranty | 90 day Return Policy

We want you to "Buy With Confidence!" This policy summarizes our commitment to superior customer service through our 90-Day Return Policy and our exclusive 2-Year Warranty.

90-Day Returns

You may return or exchange any item purchased from Trailcampro within 90 days of the    purchase date. Our policy allows you to field-test products at no risk.

Return Scenarios:

 • Buyer's Remorse: Return for a full refund (minus shipping costs).
 • Wrong Camera Purchased: We will ship you the correct camera.
 • Defective Upon Arrival: We will replace the item at no cost to you.

Return Policy Rules:

1. Timeframe: 90 days from the date of purchase.
2. Authorization: You must contact us first to obtain a Return Authorization Number (RA#). Products sent without an RA# will not be accepted.
3. Condition: Items must be returned with all original packaging (including the UPC code) and all contents, and must be in original condition. Any writing, paint, or defacement voids the warranty and refund eligibility.
4. Package Deals: If only part of a package deal is returned, the refund will be the full item price minus the package discount.
5. Large Orders: Orders of five or more units are ineligible for a refund or exchange. This is to prevent large-quantity rentals. These orders are still eligible for warranty replacement.
6. Exclusions: Used cameras and products marked "No Returns" are excluded.
7. Shipping: If returning for a refund, you are responsible for return shipping, and the initial shipping cost is non-refundable.

Trailcampro Exclusive 2-Year Warranty

We offer a 2-Year Warranty on trail cameras, processed in-house to minimize downtime and avoid manufacturer call centers.

Warranty Details:

First 90 Days: We will send you a replacement camera along with a prepaid return label. Please send the defective unit back within 7 business days.

After 90 Days: You are responsible for shipping the camera back to Trailcampro, and we will cover the return shipping back to you.

 • Duration: Two years from the date of purchase.
 • Authorization: Contact us to receive an RA# before shipping any product.
 • Exclusions: Warranties for Reconyx, Yellowstone.ai, and Spartan must be handled directly through their respective manufacturers.
 • Replacement Cameras: Replacement units receive the remainder of the original 2-year warranty.
 • Eligibility: Warranty is only valid for full retail-priced orders. Orders with quantity discounts or price matches still receive the standard manufacturer's warranty.
 • Discontinued Items: If a defective camera has been discontinued, we will exchange it for a similarly priced item of your choice.
 • Defect Only: Warranty covers manufacturer defect only. It does not cover damage (intentional or accidental), including loss of 3G cellular reception or damage caused by leaking batteries (see below).
 • Used Cameras: Used cameras are not covered by our 2-year warranty.

Accessory Warranty

Accessories are warranted for one year from the date of purchase for manufacturer defects only. This is valid for retail-priced orders. Discounted accessories receive the manufacturer's warranty. Demo accessories are sold as is.

Domestic and International Shipping

 • Warranty Shipping (Domestic/International): The customer is responsible for shipping the camera back to Trailcampro. We will cover the return shipping of the replacement camera to the original address.
 • International Returns/Warranties: International customers are responsible for all shipping costs back to the United States.
 • Customs: All return shipments must be clearly labeled as "Returned Goods - No Commercial Value" on all customs documentation to prevent duties/taxes. Any duties/fees incurred due to improper labeling are the customer's responsibility and will be deducted from any refund or charged for warranty service.
 • Recommendation: Use a reliable, trackable shipping method. We are not responsible for lost shipments until physical receipt.

Damage caused by batteries

  • We recommend using lithium batteries in all trail cameras.  Lithium batteries are going to perform the best and work very well in cold weather.  Alkaline batteries work poorly in cold temps and you will start to see the performance of the camera slowly decline.  Usually a camera with alkaline batteries will stop taking night photos but continue to take day photos.  One major drawback to alkaline batteries is they can leak inside cameras (see photo below).  This is not covered under warranty as it is not a manufacturers defect.
