Rich Howell
Founder and CEO of Trailcampro.com
Rich started building and tinkering with trail cameras many years ago as a hobby in his spare time. In his search for buying the "best" available trail camera, he became frustrated by both the lack of public information on the different cameras and the inaccurate advertising statements from the manufacturers. He started performing his own independent tests on all the available trail camera models. Hence, the reason Trailcampro.com was built - to share his findings on which cameras performed the best in certain situations.
Rich's hobbies include: rooting for Mizzou football and basketball, mountain biking, road cycling, running, camera trapping and spending time with his wife and three kids.
Carl Howell
International Sales Manager
Carl, Rich's Father, retired from Texaco, Inc. in 2001 as a senior Real Estate Manager. After retirement, Carl moved down to Springfield to be closer to Rich and his grandkids.
Carl does most of Trailcampro's International shipping, and as we like to say, he is the absolute authority on anything to deal with shipping international.
Carl's hobbies include golfing, cheering for Mizzou football and basketball and spending time with the grandkids.
Charles Padgett
Technical Guru
Charles, or as we like to call him - "Chuck" - is a retired math teacher. Born and raised in Southwest Missouri, he has had a passion for all things outdoors his entire life.
Meticulous, methodical and detail oriented, Chuck is the perfect person to perform the majority of Trailcampro's testing procedures. Chuck also does most of our product pictures and answers the toughest trail camera questions out there.
Chuck enjoys riding his Harley, fishing the boundary waters in Minnesota, chasing Missouri Whitetails and enjoying family time with his wife, kids and grandkids.
John Viehmann
Mr. Do-It-All
John juggles both being a full-time student at Missouri State University and running most of the day-to-day operations of Trailcampro. Without John, we would come to a complete halt.
John is also responsible for a good portion of our International Shipping, inventory, phone calls, quotations, emails and the list goes on and on.
John enjoys cheering for Arkansas football and baseball, playing football, riding his mountain bike and backpacking with friends.
Marc Stokes
"The Shipping Department"
Marc is known in these parts as being one of the fastest human beings on anything with two wheels (although he would never admit it). He also uses that speed in shipping trail cameras out in record time.
You will many times find Marc answering the phones, shipping cameras out and doing our accounting all at once.
When he is not "schooling" the rest of us on bikes, Marc is spending time with his wife and little girl, backpacking, camping and spending time outdoors.
Nick Hartman
Web Developer
I'm the one you should blame anytime the website doesn't work properly! Making Trailcampro super-intuitive for our customers to navigate, creating reviews and tests to educate consumers and running our blog are my main responsibilities.
I always welcome and encourage feedback for anything Trailcampro related. Please let me know (by filling out the form below) if you ever have anything you would like to see on the site, find easier or if you would like to correct my grammatical errors (they are numerous - I'm sorry!).
My hobbies include running away to the mountains, cheering for anything Mizzou related, hockey, mountain biking, camping and the list goes on infinitely.
