Moultrie M-80 XT
The new M-80 XT is the upgraded 2012 version of the 2011 Moultrie M-80. Upgrades include:
- New Motion Freeze technology reduces infrared nighttime blur
- Illumi-Night Sensor provides the brightest and clearest nighttime infrared pictures
- New FastFire Continuous Shooting Mode captures up to 3 photos per second
As you may have read in the M-80 XT Review, the recovery time also improved to 10 seconds (previously 30 seconds). Another upgrade is the time-lapse feature will now be able to take a picture of movement while in time-lapse mode.
To maximize battery life with this camera, we recommend using Nickel Metal Hydride rechargeable batteries. All you need is the Tenergy 8 pack of AA Nimh batteries and the Tenergy TN145 Battery Charger. Depending on your situation, you may want to look at security options. We recommend the Moultrie Security Case and the 6 ft. Python Cable Lock. Those two items combined, will secure your camera to any tree.
