Conclusion

Wildview is Stealth's inexpensive line of scouting cameras so they share many of the same features as Stealth models.  The Wildview Extreme 3 has the same domed PIR motion sensor as it's Stealth bigger brothers.  This domed sensor allows the camera to detect motion on the periphery of the camera's field of view and as a result allows the camera to capture images of animals many cameras would never get.  Infact, the Wildview Extreme 3 scored highest in our Trailcampro walk test.  If you look at the photos in the test you'll notice the Wildview Extreme 3 was able to capture images just as the test subject entered the camera's field of view.  This wide detection area is a big advantage when covering food plots.  The Extreme 3 also has the same external battery jack as Stealth cameras.  In addition to saving money, an external battery can extend the field life of a camera by months.  On the down side, the Extreme 3's flash range is limited to about 15'.  Also, as stated above, the camera just feels like it is constructed with minimal durability.  However, judged strictly on it's performance, the Wildview Extreme 3 does exceptionaly well at 1/3 the price of many other cameras.
