The New Browning Solar Panel Camera Power Pack (BTC-SBP12) is compatible with all of the Browning trail camera models and provides a constant power source for your camera in the field. The Browning Solar Camera Power Pack includes 6 AA NiMH rechargeable batteries that are constantly being recharged by the highly efficient solar cell to keep your cameras running strong in the field.

A step-up convertor takes the 7.2 volts from the rechargeable battery pack and converts it to a constant 12 volts at the DC plug to power the camera.

The solar panel power pack mounts easily to any tree or can be used with our line of trail camera mounts. The solar panel can be easily adjusted to the perfect angle to maximize solar power output.

Dimensions:  7" x 6" x 2"

Power Jack with Twist Lock:

  • Inside Diameter: 2.1mm
  • Outside Diameter: 5.5mm

No More Batteries (kinda)

"Are you tired of checking your camera only to find out the batteries died (probably only one died) and you only got half a day of videos when you usually get several months of shots? Me too. But that ended when I spoke with the guys at Trailcampro and bought a Browning Solar Panel Power Pack for my Browning Spec Ops Advantage camera. Over 2 months in service and the solar panel is working great. Pretty amazing considering it is in pines and does not see full sunlight at all. The camera still must have good batteries installed (don't ask me why), but the camera is totally powered by the solar panel rechargeable batteries. Two months and many many videos and the solar panel power pack is still fully charged. Totally satisfied with going solar. The guys at Trailcampro are the best. Talk with em!!"

Lithium AA are expensive

"Works great keeps the need to replace batteries much longer"

Very nice

"I love being able to set a camera up in heavily trafficked areas and not worry about replacing batteries or cards. This solar panel allows me to do just that."

Browning Solar Panels Working Well In Partial Sun

"I bought 2 Browning solar panel power packs for my Browning cameras. Neither is in full sunlight and both have kept the cameras fully powered without any battery usage for a month, with cameras set to record 10 second videos at each trigger."

So far while being in

"So far while being in a wooded area the battery pack is still at full charge after about a month"

Much of the product is

"Much of the product is very impressive. Plenty of thought went into the design. Noticed that the plastic on/off switch on 2 of the 4 I’ve bought and put into use are cheaply made so a truly positive on or off was difficult to determine. Also one didn’t want to charge up with the available USB connection for charging so just put the batteries in a charger then back into the device. Only been using a month so too early to tell how they will work out but in general Browning is top notch"

Q&A

Do you ship to UK (Scotland) and if so how much for delivery and how long would it take ? (Xmas present)
Yes. usually 5-7 days. Thanks!
I would expect a lot of damage to the cable from squirrels and coons,is it protected in any way from this?
The Browning Solar Panel Power Pack just has a normal cable connected to it, which means it is not exactly protected by animals.
Since the power cable is only 3 feet long, is there an extension cable available to attach to it.... I need more distance between the solar panel and camera...
Not that we are aware of. You could splice on on your own, but Browning doesn't make or sell one to our knowledge.
Will this solar panel plug into a Spypoint Trail Camera?
Not with the plug that it comes with.
Does this required that you also have recharable batteries or regular batteries along with the batteries in the solar panel or does this just plug into the camera eleiminating the need for the regular camera batteries?
It has its own power pack (batteries) but we still recommend putting lithium batteries inside the camera as a backup power source!
Will this work with a Browning Recon Force Advantage that uses 8 AA batteries?
Yes
How Long is the the Cable as to how far will actual Reach? From the Picture it does not very long and you would think getting it high up would be important?
The cable is 3 ft. long. Thanks!
