My 5th Reconyx

"This is my second XR6 and my fifth Reconyx camera. My cameras are out year long. Why do I stick with Reconyx. Service after the sale. My oldest Reconyx HC600 cameras can still be sent in for repair. You talk to them not a overseas call center."

RECONYX ULTRAFIRE XR6 - Douglas H., Medina County Texas

"Great camera. Battery life is decent. Bought my first one in 2016 and now have four of them. I have them on feeders and they run 365 days a year. I average 300 to 400 triggers per week. Photo and video quality is great. I have them set to take one photo and one 10 second video at 3 minute intervals. One thing I would change is, allow the minimum video length to be set to 5 seconds instead of 10."

Reconyx XR 6

"This is my 12 Reconyx. (8xHC600 three XR6 and one microfire) Nothing can compete with reconyx when it comes to high performance and endurance over time and across various conditions and temperature from -20'C to +25'C, snow rain or sun. If you are looking for the best trailcam ? Buy reconyx -you will not regret."

Nice images, irritating banner on video

"On the basis of image and video quality I would rate it 4 stars, however, the Reconyx name banner in the lower right hand corner cannot be turned off and must be removed in post processing if you want to go through that. I've had many Nikon, Canon, Sony, Panasonic, Olympus and GoPro digital cameras which take video. NONE of them put a logo on the image! Come on Reconyx, this is really irritating!"

"So far, we love this camera. Daylight HD photos are incredible and nighttime IR photos and video also excellent."

Reconyx Ultrafire XR6

"I’ve had my new XR6 in the woods for a couple weeks now. The videos do live up to the hype that they are amazing. Detail is excellent and stereo sound is cool and very good quality. So far I’m using regular 30 second clips, but will try the Dynamic Video feature after the Whitetail rut is over. I did try taking videos AND photos but found I was missing less data when set to Video Only. Still photos are OK, not sure if they are as good as my Reconyx HC600 photos… I have not compared them yet. But I did not buy the Ultrafire XR6 for photos… excellent video and camera longevity was my main goal and so far I’m very happy with the results. Also, service from Trailcampro was fast and professional as always."

Reconyx XR6 Camera Purchase

"Quick delivery, great camera, takes really good videos. This purchase was everything I had hoped for. Service people quickly respond when asked questions about camera operation. I'm very satisfied."

The still photos are good.

"The still photos are good. However, I bought this camera for taking videos. The night videos are blurry which is when most bucks are coming to the feeder nearby. I am not impressed for a $600.00 camera."

Reconyx Rocks!

"This is why you buy a Reconyx! Thank you Trail Cam Pro, the knowledge you provide for the trail camera buyers is un-surpassed by any company selling these types of cameras. Thank you for going the extra mile. A few years ago I bought my 1st Reconyx camera the PC-800. The image quality was great. I also purchased 2 Leopold trail cameras because of their higher quality images and video capabilities. Within weeks the Leopold cameras started acting up. I sent them back to the factory and they fixed my problem but they started crapping out again during prime scouting season. At this point I was pretty much done buying trail cameras from a company that I have trusted their optics for years. (Still love their rifle scopes). During this time my trusty Reconyx PC-800 kept taking photos without out a problem. Although the photo resolution was about 3/4 of my other cameras I actually got usable photos as compared to no photos. The bottom line is, no matter how good the reviews are for trail cams that doesn’t mean they will work past the mfg.’s warranty. Hat’s off to TCP for extending the mfg. warranty but what happens after that. In my case I had a three year old Reconyx that my son forced the SD card upside down into the slot rendering the camera unusable. I immediately called Reconyx and got an English speaking person I could understand. Within 2 weeks Reconyx updated my camera and there was no charge for the repair. I’ve purchased several trail cameras over the years and tossed many of them because I didn’t want to go through the pain staking repair process and the cost. This has not been the issues with Reconyx cameras. I hate to sound like a commercial for Reconyx but for those that are tired of wasting your money on trial cameras that don’t meet your expectations or fail short when you really need them then you need to check out Reconyx. They are the workhorse of trail cameras, made to last, made in America and have great customer service and warranty!"
