The Spypoint Solar trail camera offers unmatched battery life, with a built-in solar panel that charges efficiently even without direct sunlight. It features fast trigger and recovery speeds, excellent daytime picture quality, and a durable design. However, night photos and videos are average, and there is no built-in python bracket.

"The camera takes very nice photos day and night and with the solar panel the camera did not fail for over 6 weeks when i checked it (may go way longer). SD storage card included was also plenty to last over month and half with an abundance of photos taken daily. thank you"
"Very good camera excellent day pictures not so excellent night pics but ok solar panel does charge to great in the area I have it in the battery came down to about 80 precent on the solar battery in a month with 130 pics most were night pics so over all pretty good."

"I have had many different brands and this is by far the easiest to set up , swap cards and basically use. It takes AWESOME pics and videos. It may cost a bit more but it is well worth it."

"I use this for biological monitoring of otters, so the trailcams need to deal with day, night, water, sun, rain, you name it. The daytime videos are excellent, the night videos fall short. The low glow IR does not extend very far compared to the (used to be great) Bushnell low glow IR. Once that’s fixed, I won’t have any complaints (well, maybe….there are always improvements)."

"We have two of these which have been running in the field for a month now. Day shots are good, with good color and plenty of resolution. Triggering has been good on a range of creature sizes, deer at 75 feet (that's the edge of vision range, tallgrass and weeds masks everything beyond that distance). Been triggering on raccoons at 50 feet, smaller critters at closer range. Night vision has been adequate, deer at 75 feet in the edge of tall grass are visible if not well defined, everything closer is good enough image. Being summer now, there's plenty of sun to keep itself charged, we'll see how it does when winter comes and the days get short. Both day and night photos are better than the 4 year old Browning which failed a year ago (failed gasket after 3 years continuous field use)."
