"This is my new favorite and I have pretty much ran them all. It has super long detection range even on normal but doesnt false trigger much if at all on windy or sunny days unless set on maximum detection. I got it to trigger consistently at 110 feet on normal and none of my Browning cameras triggered past 100 feet on max detection. It is just like the Browning Advantage and XD series cameras in the fact that it isn't picky about the direction of the sun, set up facing towards the sun it still takes good pictures and with the sun in a favorable position it takes fantastic clear pictures that have extremely good zoom quality. I ran it against the best cameras I have seen for zoom quality images and some I had not tested before on a sign with various sized letters and numbers 35 yards away on a clear day and the camera facing NE at noon. The DS was second only to the Recon Force 4K which was my previous favorite. With the 4K I could read everything and with the DS I could make out everything just not as easy but this camera outperforms the 4K in every other way. A M8000 was used as well as others, I could read none of it with the M8000, some of it with the SF Pro XD, Edge and Advantage. The day/night/24 hour option is also very important to me and recently unavailable on Browning cameras until the new Recon Force Edge. With pictures this bright and clear and superior performance in every other way I am extremely happy with this camera. I have almost 30 higher end cameras, I wish they were all Core DS. Browning cameras are phenomenal, arguably the best but they just got caught and in my opinion passed. Competition is great! Thanks Bushnell for this camera!"
