Great photos
"I've used 6-7 different WF cameras and (contrary to TCP staff pick), this is my favorite. Others might be a bit faster or have longer flash distance but the pictures are top notch from this camera."

"Now lets go over some of the “PRO’s and CON’s of the Spartan Lumen. We’ll first look at the PRO’s.: 24/7 color pictures. The advantage of this is that it shows much greater details and clarity in your pictures. 0.4 second trigger speed. – This is a great trigger speed. I personally will not buy any camera that does not have a trigger speed less than 0.5 seconds. Runs on 6-AA batteries. Self explanatory money saver! and long battery life with lithium's Small size. This camera is actually slightly smaller than Browning Strike Force Micro series. 2” viewing screen. – This option offers a nice clear- readable screen for setting up the camera not to mention that you can review your pictures and videos in the field if you wish. Not available on Moultries or most Brownings Duel flash technology.- Xenon flash for still pics just like a regular digital or cell phone camera and LED flash for night time videos. Picture Quality is as close to a regular SLR camera that I have seen in the trail camera world. Now the CON’s: Naturally there are a few- like I said , I haven’t found the perfect trail camera yet. Uses the Micro SD card. May take some getting used to but it’s not a deal breaker. It uses the same SD cards as your mobile phone. They are about the same price a std. SD cards but you need an adapter to view them in you computer and/ or SD card reader and there is always the chance to lose them if you would happen to drop one in the grass of leaves or snow with cold hands – just have to be extremely careful I guess. Does not offer a “Multi- Shot“ function. It will only take one picture / trigger BUT this can be easily remedied by adjusting the delay times to get the same number of pics / minute as the other brands offering multi-shot options and in some cases may be advantageous.?? It will adjust from a 0 second delay to 60 minute delays. Just have to set it up to cover the specific site that you have it set up for such a trails, feeders and licks or scrapes and adjust desired delay times accordingly. Not a deal breaker. 2 second recovery time. This is a little high. Most of todays IR cameras have a recovery time of 1 second or less but not a deal breaker either. This also allows the camera to completely recover so that the picture quality is consistent from pic to pic. You’ll notice that some IR cameras have deteriorating picture quality on subsequent pictures when in multi-shot mode. I will say this, I haven’t got a bad picture yet. Subject is always centered ( no asses or noses) , no night time or day light blur from movement, No “white outs” or pixilation of pictures which is especially critical as those first or last 10 minutes of light at primetime dusk and dawn and no “false triggers”. The nighttime video flash has limited range - approx. 30 feet. They could use 2 more LED's to make it better. The lenses on these cameras is extremely wide angle. Not a deal breaker but you have to set them up at roughly half the range to get closer pictures without having to change the aspect ratio. The trigger speed on the day and night video mode is slower than most."
