Worked initially, then failed and in for service

"Had this for 2 weeks, as about to put in the field then it failed and would not power on. Sent in for service, took forever to get there and get it back. The failure was due to a firmware issue and all they did was update the firmware. I lost a month of pre-season scouting due to a firmware problem !!!"

Worked initially, then failed and in for service

"This camera worked initially, and after some testing to get the correct setup and location I was happy with the results. This camera is easily triggered by peripheral branches blowing in the wind, I would suggest an entirely open area. The web site is a bit outdated and the pictures do not always transfer in order. Sometimes I would get very recent pictures for the day and those captured overnight would not show up until the next day, just not consistent. Also, not all settings\transactions can be done on the web site, some things must be done via the phone app... ?? Hopefully, this will improve over time and with feedback from users. After about a month of use the camera would not power on consistently, and seemed to die altogether. Right when I needed to deploy it for hunting season (of course). I hope it can be repaired and returned quickly so I can really see how it does in the field for long periods."

Q&A

I currently have one of your spypoint links evo cameras now and an AT&T plan. Can I add this camera to my current plan or do I have to have separate plans for each camera??
You can only purchase the data plan from the Spypoint app on your phone. You do not deal with AT&T at all.
I'm hesitant on buy a used spycam camera. The savings over buying new is very tempting but if something doesn't work, do you offer an exchange? It says all sales are final and am curious what all that entails. I understand a refund wouldn't happen. Spending $265 for a camera that has issues would make a person regret the purchase. Thanks...
If you have doubts, then you need to stick with the new cameras. We test the used cameras so we know they work, but all sales are final. Which means no returns.
