Trailcampro Analysis
The Bushnell Aggressor Wireless is an AT&T cellular trail camera. This camera will only work on AT&T towers but will send pictures to any phone. You need at least 4 bars of AT&T cellular reception for the camera to work consistently.
Photo resolution: 14 mpxl | Flash Type: No Glow Infrared
Picture quality is outstanding. Day pictures have excellent color, clarity, and depth. Night pictures have tons of flash range (at times too much) and good contrast. This camera even ranked 4th (out of 32 cameras total) in our Flash Range Test.
[powr-image-slider id=ede2e1be_1468955464]
Resting Power (on): 0.71 mW | Daytime Power Consumption: 69.05 Ws | Nighttime Power Consumption: 65.89 Ws
If the Bushnell Aggressor Wireless were to take 15-day pictures and 15-night pictures every 24 hour period, this camera would last 2.6 months in the field on a set of lithium batteries.
To improve battery life, pair the Aggressor Wireless with the Bushnell Solar Panel. With the Solar Panel plugged into the camera and 12 AA Lithium batteries installed, the Aggressor Wireless will run on the solar panel battery until it goes under 20% charge. Once under 20%, the camera will run on the lithium batteries until the solar panel regains a charge.
Picture Trigger & Recovery Speed: 0.29 s. / 57.7 s. | Detection Range: 80 ft.
Just like the rest of the modern Bushnell trail cameras, the Aggressor Wireless has an outstanding trigger speed. Recovery time is almost one minute, which is standard for a cellular trail camera.
Detection range is 80 ft. Overall, this detection circuit is top notch.
Dimensions: 7.5" x 5" x 3" | Battery Type: 12 AA Batteries | External Battery Jack: 6 Volt
Case design on the Aggressor Wireless is good. This camera looks identical to the other Aggressor camera, but it is significantly larger in size. We love how easy the latch is to manipulate, even with cold fingers.
Batteries are easier to load than the traditional Aggressor cameras, but you still need a pen, screwdriver or long fingernails to remove batteries.
Setup on the Aggressor Wireless is relatively simple. The Bushnell Aggressor Wireless only works on AT&T cellular towers. You will need 4 or more bars of reception for consistent delivery. For cellular setup, you MUST create an account and sign up at www.wirelesstrophycam.com. You can't use any existing sim card - this is the only way to setup the Bushnell Aggressor Wireless.
There are 4 data plans you can choose from:
Create an account, add your camera and select a data plan. After this, you need to do some simple camera setup on the LCD screen inside the camera. You can have the camera email or text you photos just by adding the phone number or email address. You can also view thumbnails of the photos on the wirelesstrophycam.com website. 640 x 480 is the standard size for transmitted images. From the website you can change camera settings, manually input GPS coordinates, change data plans, order larger size images for select pictures, check battery life, check cellular reception and much more. We have found the website to be easy to navigate and user-friendly.
For those of you on the go, there is a mobile app for your smartphone for the Aggressor Wireless.
Time-lapse does not work on the Aggressor Wireless.
Durability has been poor as we are experiencing high warranty rates for bad modems and associated issues.
Bushnell Aggressor Wireless Conclusion:
The biggest problem with the Aggressor Wireless is the internal antenna. This camera needs nearly perfect reception to operate, which just isn't realistic for many people. For that reason, we see a large number of returns on this model due to the customer having poor reception. If you do not have 4 or 5 bars of AT&T reception, do not purchase this camera. With the high rate of warranty we see on this camera, this is not a unit we recommend at all.

"Great"
"I spent alot of money of your cameras and after several days of struggling with connectivity to AT and T I was told by your company that maybe it wasnt available in my area so I returned them, then I bought another companys camera with AT and T service and within 10 minutes and simple instructions I was able to connect to AT and T with no problems and its doing exactly what I expected it to do,I was very disappointed"
"Generally a great camera but it does not transmit images that are taken on the scheduled times, only the ones taken as a result of motion. I should have done more reading I guess. Also, in areas where my phone does work on a weak signal, the camera does not. It requires a stronger signal."
"I tried to get this to work, unfortunately, most areas away from the big cities just don't have enough coverage. This one was so bad I couldn't even get it to sync and send when I was in town testing. Granted, I only had 3 bars of coverage, but I could make calls, send/receive text messages and check my email. Every thing else worked, why not the camera."
"So far so good"
"I have the camera located in East Texas where cell phone coverage is spotty at best. I was concerned about it not working because I read several comments about requiring great cell service to work. I took it to the place where I knew it would get the worse service. As expected it would bounce back between no service to 1 bar. Amazingly I still received all images. I purchased the solar panel kit as well but honestly I may not ever use it. I have had it out for several weeks and the battery level has only dropped one bar on the gauge. I receive on average about 20 pics a day (lots of pigs, squirrels and crows). Can't beat the response time. I have pics of dove spooking and it snaps a pic before they can barely get off the ground. The app and web page all work good. The reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is I borrowed an Acorn model camera last year. I could send the camera a text message that would then make it send me a current pic back. I loved that feature and wish this one had it. The only other negative is that you can not see what the cell phone strength is from the camera display (when your mounting it). The only way I have found to see the strength is after the first picture, the app shows what the strength was at the time the picture was taken. Other than that it appears to be a great camera."
"Only had the camera in the field for two weeks and i love it!! I like how you can hook up a solar panel to it saving me alot on batteries!!"
"Just be nice if I can find a place in my area that has good service. So far I don't like it I've tried 6 or 7 different places and only place I can get it to work is right off the highway."
"I was somewhat skeptical when I first purchased due to the great experience I've had with another vendor model however that camera was coming to the end of it's 2G life. The Bushnell takes a phenomenal day / night picture and has great features / settings. I actually prefer the website approach to pics versus everything being locked to SMS or email,, offering much greater flexibility. The connectivity setup is incredibly easy unlike my other vendor model. My only reservation with the camera is that I cannot request a image real time which is a feature I grew very comfortable with. In any event, I love the camera and plan to acquire another one from TrailCamPro. As always, TrailCamPro's service is above and beyond what you will find anywhere else and I have shopped a few."
"I would first like to say that I am not comparing this camera to just any old thing off the shelf. When it counts and I am trying to locate and pattern a mature buck I use only Reconyx HC600 cameras. With that being said I was a little disappointed in the Aggressor wireless camera. Sure it sends pictures directly to my phone (great feature) but it misses ALOT of animals. I am not sure if this is because it is working on sending pictures or simply because the detection circuit is not working correctly. When you read the stats this camera is very comparable to the HC600 but in the field they are in 2 different ball parks. I hope that some day this cell technology is put on a camera like the Reconyx at a reasonable price, it sure is nice to get a pic of a late season buck entering your food plot and know in less than 2min that he is there. I gave this camera 3 stars because the ease of use and cell function are SPOT ON! the App that you use is just about perfect if I could ask for just 1 more thing it would be the ability to take a photo on command to verify the unit is still transmitting. If the camera did not miss animals I would rate it 5 stars!"
