The friction system is easier to cinch tight, and the buckles much sturdier. Only time will tell how well the strap material holds up with prolonged exposure to the weather, and it is this unknown that prevents me from giving the product 5 stars."

"The service was fast and complete as always, and the straps were a random assortment as stated but most of them work. I am taking off a star because some of the straps had buckles on both ends of the straps, so to use them I have to take off one buckle and then thread the strap through the buckle to attach the camera. I have never seen a camera strap that had buckles at both ends, but so far we have only found about 5 of those out of our order of 100. And the price is right, so I am not too worried about it"
